Back in Black was a song by AC/DC appearing as the sixth track on their 1980 self-titled album. The song was later recorded on both later live albums (Live and .) It has been covered by bands such as The Hives, Foo Fighters with Jack Black and Colombian pop singer Shakira. It was the band's tribute to the late Bon Scott.
The song was ranked #4 by VH1 on their list of the VH1's 40 Greatest Metal Songs.
