In multiplayer games: Backstab, often used as backstabbing, backstabber or bs'd, bs'er, etc. is a term coined in multiplayer games (usually team-oriented online multiplayer games) as a person that is betraying ones team or ones partner(s). To be a backstabber means you are the one that has betrayed your objective in the game and has turned on ones own allies. Backstabbing can occur for various reasons, some good examples are: -Friends will join opposite teams and backstab their own team members that they don't know. -Backstabbing someone annoying or backstabbing a noob.
