Badarpur is a town and a town area committee in Karimganj district in the state of Assam, India.

Geography

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Badarpur had a population of 11,291. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Badarpur has an average literacy rate of 84%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
