Bagaha is a city and a municipality in Pashchim Champaran district in the state of Bihar, India.

Geography

Bagaha is located at [24.53° N 85.03° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Bagaha]. It has an average elevation of 135 metres (442 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Bagaha had a population of 91,383. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bagaha has an average literacy rate of 38%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 66% of the males and 34% of females literate. 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
