Baglan Bay is a district and community of Neath Port Talbot county borough, south Wales.
A highly visible industrial landmark is the BP Baglan Bay chemical works which produces industrial alcohol. Recently it was announced that this plant would be closing.
Baglan Moor in the area contains a large traveller caravan site.
Baglan Bay is a re-generation area and new light industries have sprung up. Baglan Bay is home to a recently built modern highly-efficient gas fired power station.
