Baie-Mahault is the fourth-largest commune in the French overseas département of Guadeloupe. It is located at the east side of the island of Basse-Terre, and is part of the metropolitan area of Pointe-à-Pitre, the largest conurbation in Guadeloupe. In the 1999 census, Baie-Mahault had a population of 23,389.
