Bang Tango is an American funk-infused glam metal band. They are widely regarded as pioneers and revolutions within the glam metal genre as well as forerunners to the funk metal that gained widespread acceptance and even popularity during the 1990s and 2000s. The band formed in 1987 in Los Angeles, California and split-up in 1995, then reformed in 1996 and then disbanded again in 1999. Lesté reformed the band in 2002 which involve a revolving door of musicians. Many of the revolving musicians were also members of Lesté's other band Beautiful Creatures.
