Bantam Books (established 1945), owned by Random House, is a member of the Bantam Dell Publishing Group. Bantam-Spectra, their specialized sub-group for Science Fiction, published Star Wars novels from 1991 to 1999, when the publisher reverted to Del Rey (which had published the original movie novelizations). Bantam also published the entire original run of the Choose Your Own Adventure series of children's books.
