Bart Township is a township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 3,003. It is part of the Solanco School District.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 42.0 km² (16.2 mi²), all land.Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 3,003 people, 820 households, and 700 families residing in the township. The population density was 71.5/km² (185.3/mi²). There were 836 housing units at an average density of 19.9/km² (51.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.60% White, 0.80% Black or African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.17% from other races, and 0.17% from two or more races. 0.13% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.There were 820 households out of which 45.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.9% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.6% were non-families. 12.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.66 and the average family size was 4.04.
In the township the population was spread out with 37.4% under the age of 18, 11.0% from 18 to 24, 23.5% from 25 to 44, 18.7% from 45 to 64, and 9.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 27 years. For every 100 females there were 102.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.5 males.
The median income for a household in the township was $45,250, and the median income for a family was $47,604. Males had a median income of $33,387 versus $21,379 for females. The per capita income for the township was $14,399. About 10.3% of families and 13.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.7% of those under age 18 and 11.0% of those age 65 or over.
