Basangouda Ramangouda Patil (born December 13, 1963 in Bijapur, Karnataka) represented the Bijapur Lokasabha Constituency in 13th Loksabha and is also a member of 14th Loksabha from the same constituency.
He is affiliated to the [BJP|Bharatiya Janata Party]. Since the early 1990s he is serving as the President of the prestigious Shri Siddeshwar Sanshta (a Trust managing many educational institutions and Shri Siddheshwar Temple in Bijapur).
He got married to Shailaja on May 28, 1992.
