Battle of Ecbatana

The Battle of Ecbatana was fought in 129 BC between Seleucids led by Antiochus VII Sidetes and Parthians led by Phraates II. The Parthians caught the Seleucids in an ambush, and defeated them. Antiochus VII was killed in the fighting.
