The Battle of Warsaw was fought in September of 1831 between Russia and Poland. The Russians were led by Ivan Paskevich, while the Polish were led by Dembinski. The Russians captured the Polish capital, Warsaw, crushing the November Uprising, which had begun in late 1830.
