Bay (Somali: Bay; Arabic: ‎ Bāy) is an administrative region (gobolka) in southern Somalia. Its capital is Baidoa. It is bordered by the Somalian regions of Bakool, Hiiraan, Lower Shabele, Middle Juba, and Gedo. Bay region is one of the most populated regions of Somalia and consists of the following districts:

Baidoa (its capital)
Buurhakaba
Diinsoor
Qasahdhere
Ufurow

and the proposed districts of:

Berdale
Doynunay

Baidoa used to be the capital of the old Upper Juba region which consists of today Bay, Gedo, Bakool and most parts of Middle Juba (Jubbada Dhexe).Present regions were created in the 1980's by the then military regime.
