Beclean (Hungarian: Bethlen) is a town in Bistriţa-Năsăud County, in north-eastern Transylvania,Romania. The population as of 2004 is 10,930.

This is the original place of Hungarian nobility Bethlen.

The Székely village of Székelybetlenfalva in Harghita County is also called Beclean in Romanian.
