Belinda Snell

Belinda Snell (born October 1, 1981 in Mirboo North, Australia) is an Australian women's basketball player who plays for Australia and the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) in the United States.
She attended the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), and was a member of the AIS team which won the 1998-1999 WNBL championship. This team also included fellow WNBA players Lauren Jackson, Penny Taylor, Suzy Batkovic and Kristen Veal.
She was also a member of Australia women's national basketball team, "The Opals", that won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
She was signed as a free agent by the Phoenix Mercury in 2005.
