Bell High School is a high school in the Bells Corners neighbourhood in Nepean, in the city of Ottawa. Their motto is: "Vitam Impendere Vero" which means "Seek truth in life".

The school was founded in 1962. It has a number of specialist programs such as French immersion, English as a Second Language, and a gifted program, with an enrollment of some 1000 students.

Its building is in the shape of an E, with a long stretch containing the main offices, guidance office, Cafeteria, Gym and locker rooms, and 3 wings; one for Science/Language Arts, another for English/Math, and the last for Tech.

Former Students

Over the years, John Manley, Steve Yzerman and John Baird have all been Bell HS students. Also John Buffam, Judo Champ Patrick Mascoe, CFL player Jedson Tommy.
