Bellerive is a village and a municipality of the Vully, situated in the district of Avenches, in the Canton of Vaud, in Switzerland.
Presentation
Bellerive (533m) is located on the Vully, between Lake Murten and Lake Neuchatel, 5 km north of Avenches. The main part of the village Salavaux (436m), located over the Broye, the villages Cotterd (481m), on the Vully, and Vallamand-Dessous (433m), on the west side of lake Murten, belong to the municipality of Bellerive. Bellerive has 585 inhabitants (end 2004) for 2.25 km². The official language is French, spoken by 61.7% of the population, 28.2% of the population speaks German and 2.7% portuguese (2000).Other use
