Belmont, also known as Belmont Lot 16, is located in Prince County in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. It is an unincorporated community situated at the bottom of Malpeque Bay, a world-famous fishing ground for lobster and oysters.

The population of Belmont is approximately 100. The primary industry is agriculture, with dairy, beef cattle, potato, and grain farming the most prevalent.

One claim to fame for this community was that Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of the Anne of Green Gables series of novels, was posted to the Belmont School as teacher in the early part of the 1900's.
