Benetton Treviso were founded in 1932. The team has won 11 national titles, the last one in 2004, and three Italian Cups.
Many foreign players have played for Treviso including coach and World Cup winner Craig Green, the former national coach and World Cup winner John Kirwan and World Cup winner Michael Lynagh.
Treviso has always supplied a large number of players to the national team. In 2005 they won the Italian Cup 28-24 over Arix Viadana but lost in the Grand final of the Super 10 20-25 to Calvisano.
