Bigg's is a supermarket chain that has approximately 13 stores in the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Clarksville, Indiana. Biggs's is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based Supervalu Inc..

History

In 1984 Bigg's opened it first store in Cincinnati, Ohio which was the first store to offer grocery an d general merchandise. Which was so successful that every large grocery retailer Has imitated the concept. In 1994 bigg's became a wholly owned subsidiary of supervalu with seven locations. Today biggs has 13 locations.In the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Clarksville, Indiana markets.

Bigg's hypermarkets offers fashions, electronics, housewares, toys, pharmacies and in-store banking to ensure one-stop shopping. For complete convenience, all bigg's locations are open 24 hours a day and several offer a drive-thru pharmacy.

Each year, bigg's sponsors the Curtis-Breeden Celebrity Golf Classic. Money raised during the tournament helps provide educational opportunities for at-risk youth in the Cincinnati area.
