Bilara is a city and a municipality in Jodhpur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.

Geography

Bilara is located at [26.18° N 73.71° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Bilara]. It has an average elevation of 270 metres (885 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Bilara had a population of 38,650. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bilara has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 73% and female literacy of 40%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
