Bin bag
Encyclopedia : B : BI : BIN : Bin bag
A bin bag (Commonwealth English) or garbage bag (American English) is a bag used to line the insides of waste receptacles such as trash cans to prevent the insides of the container from becoming coated in produce or liquids. Most bags nowadays are made out of plastic.
When the bag is half full, the user can remove it without having to come into contact with the contents.
Such bags, when used in the foodservice context in the United States are sometimes called can liners.
