Coordinates: Bjugn is a municipality in the county of Sør-Trøndelag, Norway.

It was created by a split from Ørland municipality in 1853. On 1 January 1964 its size was significantly enlarged as the municipalities Jøssund, Stjørna and Nes were incorporated into it. The population of Bjugn increased from 1.240 to 4.940.
