Blob

A blob is a soft amorphous mass, but the term may also refer to:
- Binary large object (BLOB), in computer database systems
- Procedural surface, in computer graphics,
- Blob (comics), Marvel Comics supervillain
- The Blob, 1958 and 1988 science-fiction films
- Binary blob, in computing, partial or complete segment of a program provided in binary form only, without source code
- God object or "The Blob" anti-pattern, in computer programming, an object of class which knows or does too much
- small, roughly circular assemblages of neurons in the visual cortex which respond to primarily color stimuli; they are heavily stained with cytochrome oxidase and occur in rows approximately 0.5 mm apart
