Blue-redstripe danio

The Blue-Redstripe Danio is a subspecies of the widely known Pearl Danio. It is a tropical fish belonging to the Danio family (Cyprinidae). Believed to originating from South-east Asia in southern Thailand, this fish is rarely found in the fish keeping hobby. It tends to be smaller than the Pearl Danio and have a distinctive orange stripe. While still rare, it is known to hobbyists as Danio Blue-Redstripe.
