Blue Mage

The Blue Mage is a character class (or "job") featured in Square Enix's Final Fantasy series of computer role-playing games, in which the character utilises blue magic, a specialized school of magic which replicates the special attacks of various monsters, usually through observation, or in the majority of cases, by being targeted and surviving an attack.
Speciality
Typically, a Blue Mage may fluctuate in usefulness depending on how frequently they are used; typically a Blue Mage is very weak if not developed correctly, and very powerful if taught the correct techniques. Originally Blue Mages were notable for wearing blue domino masks, but throughout the Final Fantasy series, have not retained any distinct image like that of the White Mage and Black Mage.History
