Bobby Rondinelli

Bobby Rondinelli (born July 27, 1955, Port Jefferson, New York) is a rock drummer best known for his work with the bands Blue Öyster Cult, Rainbow, Quiet Riot, and Black Sabbath. He played with Sabbath on the albums Cross Purposes and Cross Purposes Live and was a member in 1994 and again in 1996. He is currently a member of the hard rock band The Lizards.
He also played in the bands Sun Red Sun and Rondinelli with the late Ray Gillen.

He also recorded the drum portions for the Scorpions' much heralded 1984 "Love at First Sting" album. According to an interview (see Joe Siegler's Black-Sabbath.com for the link to the article), Rudolph Shenker wanted Bobby to join the Scorpions full time, but since they were the first German act to make it big, management wanted to keep the band German. Bobby commented he was well paid for his work on that album.
