Bogawantalawa is a small town in the Central province of Sri Lanka. It is situated at 1514 m elevation above Sea level. Situated about 150 km east of Colombo. Famous for its Tea estates. Many major companies operate around the town. Connected to Hatton and Balangoda by minor roads. Consitute of a multi etnic community with Tamils with Indian origin as the majority.
