Bold Forbes

Bold Forbes (March 31, 1973 - August 9, 2000) was a thoroughbred racehorse.
Bold Forbes was a dark bay colt foaled in Kentucky, the son of Irish Castle (sired by Bold Ruler) out of the dam Comely Nell. He raced in Puerto Rico as a two-year-old where he was the 1975 champion. Sent to the United States, he was trained by Laz Barrera and won both the 1976 "Kentucky Derby" and "Belmont Stakes" under the renowned Puerto Rican jockey Angel Cordero Jr..
