Bonaire is an unincorporated area in Houston County (You say it like HOWston, not HUEston.) in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is just south of Warner Robins. It is the hometown of current Governor Sonny Perdue.

It's a really nice place. It has a cool elementary school with about 5 teachers in every grade and a spectacualr gifted program where gifted students can spend an entire day out of the normal classroom in another building to learn more challenging topics on their level than they normally would. It's called F.O.C.U.S. Everything about it is cute and homey, at least since I was last there. A lot can change since then. You should go!
