Bowali is a census town in South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Bowali had a population of 10,200. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bowali has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 83% and female literacy of 69%. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
