Brad J. Sherman (born October 24 1954) is a Jewish American politician. He has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing the 27th District of California ([map]). He was born in Los Angeles, California, was educated at the University of California, Los Angeles and Harvard Law School, and was a lawyer and accountant before entering the House.

He was interviewed by Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report on the March 22, 2006, and mainly asked about his district's large pornography business. Indeed, playing off of a long-running The Daily Show joke, Colbert ate pizza seductively while the congressman watched in bemusement. Sherman did however deny that there was a pornography business in San Fernando Valley.
