Braintree Town F.C. is a football club based in Essex, England. They were established in 1898 and are currently in the English Conference South. They made history in 2005 when they reached the First Round proper of the FA Cup for the first time in their history, and later in the season won the Isthmian League Premier Division, gaining promotion to the Conference South for the 2006/7 season.
They are managed by George Borg, who used to manage Chelmsford and was once an Aldershot player.
They play their home games at Cressing Road Stadium, which has a capacity of 4,000 (250 seated).
