Brampton – in Huntingdonshire (now part of Cambridgeshire), England – is a village near Godmanchester south west of Huntingdon. It is home of the Dragoon and Black Bull public houses, infamous for their brawling and violence among patrons. Brampton was the home of Samuel Pepys and legend has it that his fortune was buried somewhere in the village.
