Branco (Portuguese for "white") is a small island in the Barlaventos archipelago of Cape Verde. It is uninhabited except by birds and is known for its guano and surrounding marine life. It is also one of only two islands where the Cape Verde Giant Skink was observed to reside (it may now be extinct).
