Location of Braniewo County within Warmian-Masurian Voivodship
Braniewo County or Powiat of Braniewo (Polish: powiat braniewski) is a powiat (county) in northern Poland, in Warmian-Masurian Voivodship. It was created in 1999. The county seat and namesake is the town of Braniewo. The population is 44,067 (2005).
The county includes:
- urban commune (gmina miejska): Braniewo
- urban-rural communes (gminy miejsko-wiejskie): Frombork Commune, Pieniężno Commune
- rural communes (gminy wiejskie): Braniewo Commune, Lelkowo Commune, Płoskinia Commune, Wilczęta Commune
- towns: Braniewo, Frombork, Pieniężno
