Breadalbane is a community located in Queens County, Prince Edward Island.
It was named after Breadalbane, Scotland.
Breadalbane PEI has a community center and a library, but is most notibly known for an area of partial dirt road know as the Dixon Road. The Dixon Road is a haven for back-to-the-landers, draft dodgers, goat farmers, potters, maple syrop harvesters, organic farmers, musicians, poets, writers, and the like. A bohemian cornecopia of interesting folks from diverse backgrounds (mostly "from away") who have settled here to discover a greater community and harvest a peacefull life.
Several unnofical clan gaterings happen each year. eg: the Jack Daniels Toboggan Invitational Party The Cowboy Cookout The Summer Solstice Gathering And most importantly, Dr. Phil Corsi's August Masquerade Bash, exotic beverages, several live bands, games, party favors, and safety meetings.
