Brian Adam

Brian Adam (born 10 June, 1948, Newmill) is a Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of the Scottish Parliament for Aberdeen North.
He captured his current constituency from Labour in the 2003 election, having previously served in the parliament as a list member for North East Scotland.
A graduate of the University of Aberdeen, he worked as the principal biochemist at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and was a trade union activist prior to his election. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
