Brora (Scottish Gaelic: Brùra) (Ordnance Survey Grid reference ) is a small town in the east of Sutherland, in the Highland area of Scotland. The town is on the A9 road and has a railway station on the Far North Line.

Small industrial village having at one time a coal pit, brickworks, T M Hunters woollen mill, GCHQ Radio Station. Lots of amenities including an 18 hole Links golf course designed by James Braid in 1923 for the princely sum of £23.00. Bowling and Tennis, clean beaches and associated wild life.
