Broward School District

The Broward School District, also known as Broward County Public Schools, in Broward County, Florida claims to be the largest fully-accredited school district in the US, and is the fifth-largest overall. In 2004/2004 it served more than 270,000 students.
The district covers a total of 251 institutions: 137 elementary schools, 41 middle schools, 28 high schools, 6 adult/vocational schools, 10 centers, and 29 charter schools.
The current members of the School Board of Broward County, which oversees the district, are:
