Eleven years later, in 1947, was created the first plant, which also produced men's shoes. The current plant was built is 1969. In the 80's the Magli company developed a franchising retail network which lead, in about twenty years, to around forty "franchises", strewn around in Europe, America, Japan, Far East, China, Australia.

Bruno Magli is now a privately held upscale brand leader in men's and women's footwear, leather clothing, women's handbags, luggage items, small leather goods, and other accessories.

Miscellanous

Bruno Magli shoes were in the spotlight during the O.J. Simpson's trial, when on June 19 1995 FBI expert William Bodziak testified that the famous bloody shoe prints at the scene of the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman had been left by a size 12 pair of $160 Bruno Magli shoes ("Lorenzo" model). Simpson called the Brunos "ugly ass" shoes while denying he ever owned them.[link] The actual shoes used during the crime have not been recovered.
