- This is a list of fictional stories from the fictional Buffyverse established by Buffy and ''Angel, listed chronologically.
- This is the first of three parts of the Buffyverse chronology, and contains the tales that take place before Buffy Season 1, during Buffy Season 1 itself, and during Buffy Season 2.

Overview
The chronology may also be used to see how Buffy and Angel episodes can be viewed in order so that crossovers and references function correctly. All the stories considered 'canon' are bold. Many of items on this list are not considered canon. For a canon chronology, see here. Each story listed belongs on one of the following categories:- Buffy television episodes - 144 shows first broadcast in 1997-2003.
