The BAB 10 has a total length of 196 km, from the Schwanebeck junction (formerly branch Prenzlau). There, the A 11 from Stettin/Prenzlau leads to the A 10. Motorways A 2, A 9, A 12, A 13 and A 24 also connects to the Berliner Ring. The BAB 10 is connected to the Berliner Stadtring and other parts of Berlin via A 111, A 113, A 114 and A 115.
Extension
The A 10 is generally 4 to 6 lanes wide. In spring 2006, the section between Berlin-Hellersdorf and Berlin-Marzahn will be completely upgraded to 6 lanes. There are plans to extend the A 10 to 8 lanes between the Potsdam junction and the Nuthetal junction, in order to upgrade the Schwanebeck junction and upgrade the A 10 between Neuruppin and the A 24 to 6 lanes. These plans are considered as urgent and construction is likely to be started before 2010.Exit list
