- A Burner (Burning Man) is someone who attends the Burning Man festival or related regional events
- A minor neurological injury suffered mostly by athletes participating in contact sports, such as football.
- A weapon used by the soldiers of the Mobile Infintry in Robert A. Heinlein's novel Starship Troopers.
