A Bursar is a senior professional financial administrator in a school or university.
Bursar is a Latin term meaning "keeper of the purse" or "official in charge of funds". Bursaries to students are also the responsibility of the Bursar.

The Bursar Statement is Cornell University's primary method of tuition payment.
