Buryat language

The Buryat language (or Buriat) is a Mongolic language spoken by the Buryats. They mostly populate the area called Syberia, in East Asia. Partly they are residents of Chinese Peaple's Republic, partly live in Mongolia, and majority of them populate the bordering area of Russian Federation with China and Mongolia.
In ISO 639-3 it is considered a macrolanguage. The individual languages within this macrolanguage are:
- Chinese Buriat (65,000 speakers by Ethnologue [link]).
- Mongolian Buriat (64,900 [link]).
- Russian Buriat (318,000 [link]).
