Busan College of Information Technology, also Busan Info-Tech College, is situated in the Buk-gu district of Busan metropolitan city, in southeastern South Korea. It employs about 105 instructors, and enrolls about 5,000 students. The college is divided into various schools: Space Design, Automobile & Machine, Digital Electronics, Life Science, IT, Industrial Design, Hotel and Tourism Management, Tourism Interpretation, e-Management, Health and Medical Care, Education and Welfare, and Sports Science. Campus facilities include a Folk Art Museum, opened in 1994. The college also plays a role as a business incubator. The current president is Kang Ki-Sung, who is the sixth president of the college and has served since 2001.

History

The school welcomed its first students in 1977, at which time it was known as Sungji Technical Professional School. It was renamed and reorganized in 1979 as Sungji Technical Junior College. The campus was moved to its current location in 1985. The college changed to its current name, to reflect its focus on high technology, in 1998. A high-speed information network had been installed on campus in 1996.
