CAC Wirraway

The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Wirraway was a World War II training and fighter aircraft manufactured in Australia by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation between 1939 and 1946. The Wirraway was operated by the Royal Australian Air Force until 1959. The aircraft was an Australian development of the T-6 Texan training aircraft. During WWII, the emergency fighter CAC Boomerang was based on the Wirraway.
