Encyclopedia : C : CA : CAR : CAR-PGa
The Committee for the Advancement of Role-Playing Games, or CAR-PGa, was founded in 1988 by William Flatt as a recognized committee of the Role-Playing Game Association (RPGA) and later became an independent organization.
CAR-PGa focuses on peer-reviewed research into role-playing games, and has historically spent significant resources countering anti-role-playing claims by organizations such as Bothered About Dungeons and Dragons (BADD).
