Story
The movie follows a group of three aspiring rappers into fame and popularity. Longtime friends and amatuer rappers Albert, Euripidies, and Otis want to make their big break on the rap scene. In order to get their name heard they must appeal to local crime lord and club owner, Gusto. After a failed meeting with Gusto, the police rush in and throw him in the slammer. Gusto blames the group for the police raid and swears he'll kill them when he gets out of prison. However, while Gusto is locked up, Albert takes on the name of the crimelord and Cell Block 4 becomes the hottest band on the charts with hits like "Sweat of my Balls" and "Straight Outta Locash". Their rise to fame is documented by an aspiring director played by Chris Elliot. Gusto, of course, is eventually let out of prison and the end of the film deals with the hi-jinks that ensue from this development.Quotes
Albert: Man, she ain't nuttin' but a grupie with a pen. Eve: I hear a pen is all you have in your pants and it's already out of ink.External links
